Why join STAAND?
Here are the reasons young people are becoming involved in STAAND.
"I heard about this organization through my friends and once it was explained to me, I thought it was amazing that there were other kids out there who were drug and alcohol free."
"I believe you don't have to add stuff to parties to have fun. Fun is when you are there mentally too, not just physically."
"More confidence to use my youth voice."
"I wanted to say that I am drug and alcohol free and proud of it."
"Showing people that you don't have to be a follower, but a leader."
"I attended a meeting on bring a friend day. I was a little shocked at how many people I know and how much they are about this program and I wanted to be apart of it."
** Each member may have different motivating factors for being a part of STAAND, however, all are willing to work together toward common goals.
