"Parents Who Host Lose the Most"
Parents Who Host Lose the Most Campaign is a community effort that alerts parents to the legal and health related consequences of purchasing, providing or pouring alcohol for anyone under age 21, other than their own child. As part of the campaign, will be providing information about the dangers of underage drinking, the legal consequences of hosting underage drinking in your home and how parents and other family members can host safe and fun alcohol free events for youth.
The goals of this campaign are to educate the community:
- The dangers to youth if consuming alcohol
- Increase awareness of the physical and legal risks of drinking
- To decrease the age of onset of alcohol use
- Increase communication among parents to decrease underage drinking parties and offer support to parents
- How to have a fun and safe party without alcohol
