High School

High School youth who choose not to use alcohol or other drugs have an important voice in making Fond du Lac County a safer and healthier place for everyone. Preventing underage drinking is a task the high school students work on by leading projects and community campaigns.  They bring a positive energy and a “can-do” attitude to the work they do. Youth become involved both in school and out in the community to make the most impact. Every youth has different strengths, experiences, and skills that he or she brings to the group.

Youth are welcome to join the STAAND (Students Taking Action Against Negative Decisions) in Fond du Lac, North Fond du Lac and Campbellsport.  If you are not part of any of those communities, please contact Drug Free Communities to discuss getting a project or group started in your community.
